From a Civil Engineer to a Tent: Help Me Save My 5 Children 🏠⛺
"Thank you, Baba, for the apple!" 🍎 My 4-year-old son, Anas, said this while biting into a green bell pepper. He wasn’t joking. He has been deprived of fruit for so long that he truly believed the pepper was an apple. My heart broke into pieces. 💔
My name is Abed Al-Khaleq, a Civil Engineering Consultant. For 14 years, I dedicated my life to building homes for others. My wife, Noha, holds an MBA. Together, we built a life of dignity for our five children. In the blink of an eye, our home was reduced to dust. 🏚️
Today, we are surviving in a fragile tent in Deir al-Balah, facing severe malnutrition and the harsh elements. Yet I refuse to let my children’s future wither. Despite everything, I search for a weak internet signal every day so they can continue their education. 📚✏️
Your support is the foundation stone for rebuilding our life. We are not just numbers; we are a family of scholars who love peace.
