@cstross@wandering.shop I've said that exact thing multiple times... but we aren't defeated yet. Millions of us resist in what ways we can; I wish we could get more legitimate collective action going, but in the meantime we report on ICE, we give to causes that fight, we try to educate people against the disinformation, and we look out for each other. I don't know if we will ultimately prevail. But we absolutely can't give ourselves the luxury of capitulation, even though it would be much easier. We pick and choose our battles so we don't go insane, but we still fight.
